Support for these workshops is provided by the National Science Foundation.

Participants are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements and may receive up to $850 toward up to 2 nights in a hotel and travel expenses. If you wish, you may consult the APS Meetings website for information about hotels near the meeting site, many of which will offer special rates. These hotels usually fill up quickly so please observe deadlines posted on the website when you register.

Workshop participants will receive an APS travel/expense form at the workshop.  The form should be filled out completely, signed by the participant, and returned to Sue Otwell at the American Physical Society, along with receipts.  Proper documentation (original receipts, invoices, etc.) is required for all expenses of $25 or more and must accompany the form.  Original receipts/invoices are mandatory when the reimbursement request is for the total amount of an expense.  Copies are only acceptable when requesting reimbursement for only a portion of the expense (for example, if you are receiving reimbursement from another source).
