Invited Paper Nomination
Nomination Deadline: Midnight EDT, May 14, 2008
Review TalksIn celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the DPP, the Program Committee will select review talks by distinguished speakers on various themes that represent broadly the scope of plasma physics research in the last 50 years. This selection process will be carried out by the Program Committee in coordination with a separate Ad Hoc Committee for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. We are not seeking nominations for review talks at this meeting. Nominations for Invited and Tutorial Talks
We will accept nominations for invited and tutorial talks only via the online nomination form. Use the Invited Paper Nomination Form to submit nominations for all invited papers or tutorials. The form will be available on Wednesday, April 9. We encourage you to submit a nomination with relevant references, supporting remarks, and additional APS-DPP members who could be contacted about the nomination. Due to the web-based processing, we cannot handle supporting letters--all information should be included in the online nomination form under supporting remarks. |
Invited speakers who have given talks at the previous two DPP annual meetings are not eligible for nomination.
The deadline for invited and tutorial talk nominations is Wednesday, May 14.

Selected Speakers
Speakers who are selected for invited or tutorial talks will be emailed an invitation-to- speak letter by Friday, June 20, and will be given the web address for electronic invited abstract submission.
The deadline for receipt of invited abstracts is Friday, July 18 at 5:00 p.m. EDT at APS Headquarters in College Park, Maryland. Invited speakers should refer to their invitation letter for complete submission instructions.
