April Meeting

The April Meeting 2008 of the American Physical Society will take place in St. Louis, Missouri, at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront Hotel (formerly Adams Mark Hotel). The meeting will be held in conjunction with a conference sponsored by HEDP (High Energy Density Physics) and HEDLA (High Energy Density Laboratory Astrophysics). All scientific sessions and ancillary activities will take place in the Hyatt Riverfront Hotel. Note: The HEDP/HEDLA meeting starts Friday, April 11. St. Louis received the 2006 World Leadership Award for Urban Renewal. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area, close to restaurants, shops and LaClede’s Landing, a focus of the city’s activity. Note: the Adams Mark Hotel has been sold and is now the Hyatt Hotel.

- Submit abstracts early to ensure placement in the program.
- Register early to save $$. Early registration (lowest fees) deadline is February 22. After this date fees are higher. You can register online and receive immediate e-mail confirmation.
- Hotel reservations can now be made. Don't delay in making your hotel reservation to ensure you get to stay at the headquarters hotel (Adams Mark), and get the discounted APS hotel rate. The cut-off date is March 7, but the hotel may be sold out prior to the cut-off date, SO DON’T DELAY.
